Local Authority funded and private fee (directly with Accord Group).

We are also the contracted domiciliary care in the following extra care schemes and these care services are managed and co-ordinated from the Telford and Wrekin framework:


Bournville House

Bournville House is a state-of-the-art extra care scheme in Lightmoor Village in Telford. Bournville Village Trust are the Registered Social Landlords for this service; with the onsite care and support services delivered by the Accord Group which are designed to help older people to keep well and independent.

The scheme offers 59 self-contained two-bedroom, three-person apartments, as well as a range of high class community facilities including a bistro, hair salon, gym, craft room, communal lounge and fully landscaped gardens.

Parkwood

Parkwood is an extra care scheme providing 54 comfortable individual apartments for older people who are able to live on their own but who may have personal care and support needs.

Situated in the Woodside area of Telford, Parkwood allows easy access to the town and surrounding areas, as well as local shops and amenities, which afford residents increased independence and choices in their daily living. Living in well-equipped accommodation with emergency cord-activated alarms, residents have peace of mind with the knowledge that any care and support needed can be provided at any time of the day or night by a dedicated, experienced team.

A range of activities are on offer, with a flexible programme serving individual interests and personal hobbies. Entertainment evenings, a dominos league, darts tournaments, bingo, coffee afternoons, trips out and more allow residents as much opportunity for socialising as they wish with the privacy of their own home just a stone’s throw away.

Accord deliver this scheme in partnership with The Wrekin Housing Trust.
