Accord joins new housing collaboration to deliver more affordable homes

Accord has joined a new collaboration between the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and five of the region’s leading housing associations to accelerate and increase the number of affordable homes for local people.

The Collaborative Development Vehicle (‘CDV’), includes Accord Housing Association, Bromford Housing Group, Citizen Housing Group, Midland Heart and whg (Walsall Housing Group). Together they have signed a memorandum of understanding setting out a joint commitment to deliver more housing alongside the WMCA. 

The CDV collaboration aims to give people more security in choosing and moving more easily into homes and is part of the WMCA’s wider plans to drive an inclusive economic recovery that benefits all communities.

The new partnership will deliver even more affordable homes for the people of the West Midlands.by combining the expertise and resources of five of the largest housing associations within the West Midlands Housing Association Partnership (WMHAP) with the WMCA.
